| Deafening roar of a massive explosion shatters the tense silence of a high-security prison transport in the criminal underbelly of Gotham City. Amanda Waller, the ruthless director of A.R.G.U.S., assembles a disposable team of notorious criminals for a classified, highly lethal assignment, implanting explosive devices inside their bodies to guarantee absolute compliance. This involuntary vanguard consists of the unpredictably chaotic Harley Quinn, the lethal marksman Deadshot, the eccentric patriot Peacemaker, the shape-shifting monster Clayface, and the ravenous humanoid monster King Shark. Their mandatory mission violently derails when a mysterious anomaly transports the entire crew across dimensional boundaries into a medieval fantasy realm overrun by hordes of rampaging orcs and flying dragons. Supervised by their heavily stressed handler Rick Flag, the incarcerated supervillains quickly discover that they have been abandoned in a hostile territory where modern firearms mean nothing against ancient arcane magic. Before they can even begin to formulate a plan for escape, the notorious criminal mastermind known as The Joker suddenly appears in the parallel dimension, wreaking his own brand of anarchic havoc across the fantasy kingdom. Trapped between a hostile local military that views them as dangerous monsters and a ticking clock dictated by the lethal explosives wired into their necks, the unwilling heroes must navigate a treacherous landscape of medieval politics and magical warfare. Ultimately, their bizarre dimensional exile transforms into a high-voltage, explosive crusade to survive a lethal fantasy apocalypse before their internal triggers permanently detonate.
