| Suzu Naito presses her fingertips against the rusted steel strings of a forgotten acoustic guitar in her rural bedroom. A childhood river accident claimed her mother, permanently severing the high school student's ability to sing aloud. Seeking a brief escape from her suffocating grief, she initiates a biometric scan to enter a massive virtual reality network known as U. The system interprets her hidden emotional data and instantly generates an elegant avatar dotted with freckles. Cloaked in absolute digital anonymity, Suzu discovers she can finally push air from her lungs and project her voice without suffering paralyzing panic attacks. Her soaring melodies rapidly elevate this anonymous persona into a globally worshipped pop icon. Millions of digital users pack themselves into towering virtual stadiums just to hear her perform. This unprecedented musical event violently shatters when a heavily scarred user known only as the Dragon crashes through the glass floor of the holographic stage. Network vigilantes immediately mobilize their forces to hunt this aggressive intruder across the entire digital ecosystem. Instead of fleeing the chaos, the young singer actively tracks the beast to a ruined virtual castle to uncover the source of his intense hostility. She must carefully bypass his hostile digital armor to reach the deeply wounded person hiding behind the monstrous avatar before malicious moderators permanently erase his account.
