Synopsis for: A.I.C.O. Incarnation (Winter 2017/18)
| In a near-future Japan, a massive biological incident known as the "Burst" occurs, transforming a research city into a quarantined zone overrun by rapidly evolving artificial life forms called "Matter." Two years later, Aiko Tachibana, a middle school student who lost her family in the catastrophe, learns from a new transfer student, Yuya Kanzaki, that she may hold the key to unlocking the mysteries of the Burst. Believing she has a hidden power within her, Aiko embarks on a journey to the center of the affected area, accompanied by a group of specialists. They face numerous dangers within the quarantined zone, battling the unpredictable Matter and confronting the secrets surrounding the Burst's origin. As they delve deeper into the ravaged city, Aiko begins to question her own identity and the true nature of her existence, uncovering a complex web of conspiracies and scientific experiments that led to the devastating incident.
