| Cold, rushing waters of the Tamagawa Aqueduct envelop a desperate, melancholic author seeking a tragic end alongside his beloved. Osamu Dazai, a deeply depressed literary master, attempts a double suicide in 1948, fully expecting the sweet release of death to finally silence his inner turmoil. His romanticized demise is violently interrupted when a speeding truck suddenly obliterates him, forcibly transplanting his fragile, poison-riddled body into a vibrant fantasy realm.
