Aya Mitsuki attends the highly prestigious Kuromi Girls Academy as a commoner on a scholarship, having completely abandoned her lifelong obsession with competitive gaming to fit into polite society. Her desperate attempt to maintain a refined, ladylike facade crumbles instantly when she stumbles across an unexpected sight hidden away from the prying eyes of the student body. She discovers Mio Yorue, the universally admired school idol known for her flawless elegance, intensely hunched over a portable monitor executing brutal combo chains in a hardcore fighting game. The seemingly perfect upperclassman harbors a deeply unrefined secret as a trash-talking, highly aggressive rushdown player who completely loses her composure during high-stakes digital combat. Realizing they share an undeniable passion for the competitive scene, the two students form a highly secretive alliance to indulge their favorite hobby without ruining their pristine academic reputations. They must carefully navigate the strict rules of their elite boarding school, constantly dodging the watchful gaze of disciplinary committee members like Yu Inui to practice their technical maneuvers. Ultimately, their clandestine after-school arcade sessions transform into a high-stakes, hilarious crusade to dominate the national esports circuit while proving that true elegance includes utterly destroying opponents in the corner of a digital arena.
