Kouhei Araki, a veteran editor of the dictionary editorial division at Genbu Publishing, plans to retire in order to better care for his ailing wife. However, before retiring, he must find a replacement to complete his latest project: a new dictionary called The Great Passage. But no matter where he looks, he cannot find anyone suitable, as making a dictionary requires a wealth of patience, time, and dedication. Mitsuya Majime works in Genbu Publishing's sales division, yet he has poor social skills and an inability to read the mood in most situations. In spite of this, he excels at having an enthusiasm for words thanks to his love of reading and careful personality. It is these skills that draw Araki to him and prompt him to offer Majime a position in the dictionary editorial department. As Majime accepts his new position, he finds himself unsure of his abilities and questioning whether he will fit in with his new co-workers. Yet amid the vast sea of words, The Great Passage will bring them together. [Written by MAL Rewrite] Continue reading Fune wo Amu [HEVC, BD 720p | BD 1080p]→
Cold, polished porcelain of a newly conceptualized toilet seat chills the fingertips of a remarkably handsome yet profoundly irresponsible designer. Ossan lives a comfortable but pathetic existence as a heavily divorced, lecherous father relying entirely on the extreme competence of his brilliant daughter Min-chan. His mundane, toilet-centric lifestyle violently derails during a completely ordinary trip to the bathroom when a bizarre spatial vortex sucks him directly down the drain. He awakens in the presence of the Space Peace Republic Alliance Hero Committee, an eccentric extraterrestrial organization that forces him to become Earth's primary defender against an impending alien invasion. The bizarre caveat to his newly acquired cosmic strength is a devastating physical transformation; activating his immense superpowers instantly morphs his attractive body into a chubby, grotesque, and heavily balding caricature of a traditional superhero. Stripped of his good looks and entirely unrecognized by his own daughter, the reluctant savior must navigate apocalyptic extraterrestrial threats while desperately trying to maintain his shattered parental dignity. Every ridiculous skirmish against invading monsters requires him to weaponize his absurd new physique, trading his former vanity for raw, unadulterated brute force. Ultimately, his forced conscription transforms into a hilarious, high-velocity struggle to protect the planet from total annihilation while frantically searching for a way to reverse his humiliating metamorphosis.
