Synopsis for: Gachiakuta (Summer 2025)

In a stark world divided between the opulent floating city, The Sphere, and the desolate "Pit" below, where the upper class discards their waste and their unwanted, lives Rudo, a young man from the impoverished slums. Raised to value discarded objects, his life takes a cruel turn when he is falsely accused of his foster father's murder and unjustly cast down into the monstrous abyss, a place from which no one is supposed to return. Surviving his terrifying descent, Rudo finds himself in a toxic wasteland teeming with monstrous "trash beasts" born from humanity's refuse. Here, he discovers a hidden power within himself as a "Giver," capable of imbuing cherished objects with powerful "vital instruments." With newfound allies known as "Cleaners," who battle these grotesque creatures, Rudo embarks on a perilous journey, fueled by a burning desire to uncover the truth behind his unjust conviction and exact revenge on the society that so carelessly discarded him.
