The pilot is a 1 hour movie quality special that is currently sitting at over 8.5 on MAL.
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn that pilot episode movie. If they can keep up that intensity all season, the bar will have been raised too high for anyone to match.
10/10 so far (ep 6 as of writing). First time in a while I’ve seen an anime adaptation before reading a LN/WN version of a series first, but the animation is incredible! Hoping it keeps up.
