Chalk dust dances in the warm afternoon sunlight, settling quietly across the empty desks of a hastily repurposed high school clubroom. Minoa Asagaya navigates her first year at Sakaneko High School with absolutely no foundational knowledge of modern pop culture, haunted only by a fragmented, vague memory of a captivating childhood animation. Her casual attempt to identify this forgotten scene violently derails her ordinary student life when she unwittingly attracts the attention of Arisu Kamiigusa, a wealthy and relentlessly passionate otaku. Overwhelmed by sheer enthusiasm, Minoa is forcefully recruited to help establish a new animation appreciation club alongside Miko Kouenji, a quiet student who harbors an intense devotion to light novels. This newly formed group must immediately defend their fragile clubroom from a hostile student council intent on shutting down their seemingly frivolous activities. However, their daily routine of debating genre mechanics and binge-watching classic series soon triggers bizarre, unexplainable phenomena that perfectly mirror the fictional tropes they constantly discuss. The boundaries between reality and animation begin to crack, forcing the inexperienced Minoa to quickly decode the complex rules of narrative structure. Ultimately, her struggle evolves from simply surviving eccentric club meetings into a frantic, meta-textual scramble to prevent her entire reality from collapsing into an inescapable comedic cliche.
